Albergue Monasterio de San Bernardo

The hostel is located on the premises of a Cistercian monastery of the Order of Saint Bernard, in the historic center of Granada and at the foot of the Alhambra. The hostel and monastery are managed by the non-profit organization ARSCONDITUS, whose mission is to promote and conserve heritage and make it accessible to the public. This is a traditional Christian hospitality inn with 7 beds in two dormitories, one with two bunk beds and the other with three lower beds. It also has a small kitchen and, around the cloister, other rooms with a bathroom, showers and laundry. The hostel has a patio and a large terrace with spectacular views of the Alhambra. Access to the hostel is via Calle Gloria, and you'll need to ring the bell to gain entry, as there's no key. The hostel closes at 10:00 pm and is financed by responsible donations. Accommodation and guided tours of the monastery's heritage can also be booked on a donation basis.
