Alcazaba de Fiñana

This is an Arab fortress built in the 9th and 10th centuries, which continued in splendour until the 17th and 15th centuries, of which only three towers and some walls remain in a ruinous state. These towers are rectangular in shape, with a construction system of simple mortar with lime and sand, covered with a layer of plaster.

Located in the highest part of the town, it is currently difficult to reach, although it is easy to distinguish among the surrounding farmland, which prevents its proximity. Its location was chosen because it is a dominant site with a good water supply.
