- Vía de la Plata desde Sevilla / Zamora-Granja de Moreruela
DWELLINGS: There are numerous examples of popular architecture in dwellings, farmyard enclosures and others of agricultural tradition with clay and stone as the main elements.
The house in front of the church stands out, built in the first half of the 20th century, which has two floors.
Although there are more houses in which the façade covers the first floor with stone or has been covered with solid brick. It is complemented by decorative elements such as the wrought iron grilles that protect the windows and balconies.
FOUNTAINS: The picturesque fountains found in the village are the work of a crafty neighbour who works with metal and stone.
The stone basin used in the fountain in the Plaza de la Iglesia, said to be an ancient baptismal font which this neighbour has recovered to give it a new use.
The taps of each fountain are made with care, representing animals of the area.
WELLS: Given their proximity to the river, wells have been essential for the extraction of water for the houses. The wells are decorated with beautiful wall lights that harmonise with the beautiful façades and fountains of the village.
