Arquitectura Popular en Riego del Camino

In the hamlet of Riego del Camino we are surprised by the number of noble buildings that are distributed throughout its streets.

Large two-storey dwellings with a façade ennobled by aesthetic details are common.

The Arab brick frames in its openings, the old forges that make up the grilles of its windows and balconies, other ornaments on the rendering such as ceramic borders or the plasterwork are striking.

There are also still numerous remains of rural buildings, striking for their stone plinths, on which the adobe or rammed earth walls were placed, with mud plastering.
