The Jacobean Association of Jaén was founded in August 2003 with the firm vocation to maintain the spirit of the Christian and Marian tradition of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.

Since 2003, the founding year of our Association, we have served not only pilgrims but also future pilgrims who have wanted to know more details about the Camino de Santiago through the members of our Association.

In its founding act, one of the main priorities of our Association is to inform and make known in the province of Jaén, the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, as well as to provide all pilgrims who wish the credential.

The second priority of our Association, and perhaps the most ambitious, is undoubtedly to promote the Mozarabic Way of St. James through the Sierra Sur de Jaén after recovering this pilgrimage route that passes through the municipalities of Jaén capital, Torredelcampo, Jamilena, Martos and Alcaudete.
