Ayuntamiento de Villanueva de la Serena

Town Hall. The work was partially completed in 1583, according to the coat of arms of the House of Austria. It is one of the most representative buildings in the city. The ground floor has three wide semicircular arches on Ionic columns, forming a porticoed atrium. The upper floor has a continuous balcony with five granite-framed lintelled windows. On the pediment is the coat of arms of the town and an inscription indicating the year 1583.
