The Arab Baths Cultural Centre brings you closer to one of the main cultural and museum references in Andalusia. The heritage value of the building and the uniqueness of its collections make a visit to this lively and dynamic institution located in a privileged enclave in the historic centre of Jaén a must.

In its basements are the Arab Baths, among the best preserved and largest in Europe and, above them, the Palace built at the end of the 16th century by the former Count of Villardompardo and Viceroy of Peru. Its foundations concealed and protected the Andalusian construction until it was rediscovered in 1913.

These actions have made it accessible, giving value to elements of the Palace such as the Chapel, the Choir or the Laundry Room, while at the same time creating new multi-purpose spaces. An architectural jewel that, in addition to the archaeological site of the Baths, houses the Museum of Arts and Customs and the ‘Manuel del Moral’ International Museum of Naïve Art, an international reference for this artistic style.

Seven floors on which museum areas and functional and leisure areas coexist, in which the conservation and dissemination of heritage go hand in hand in an open and varied cultural programme that can be enjoyed all year round.

From its vantage point, the renovated Arab Baths Cultural Centre calls out to the city and its
