Casa do Concello de Dozon

Dozón, in the heart of the Camino de Santiago, is home to a valuable artistic heritage, in which the Monastery of San Pedro de Vilanova, from the 12th century, a jewel of the best Galician Romanesque architecture, stands out, conceived to house a female religious community.

Dozón has numerous routes for hiking in contact with nature. Its leafy valleys, dominated by the Pena de Francia mountain, source of the Asneiro river and the mountains of A Rocha, make this municipality an ideal place for the practice of sporting activities.
