Historic Centre of Allariz
Allariz was the residence of kings in the Middle Ages, among them Alfonso X the Wise. Situated in the valley of the river Arnoia, the town preserves a strong medieval imprint in its urban centre.

Since 1971, when it was declared a Historic-Artistic Site, the historic quarter of Allariz has undergone remodelling and rehabilitation, which earned it the European Town Planning Award. Remodelled houses and inhabited again, public and commercial spaces that welcome the neighbourhood and the visitors that walk, daily, through its streets.

Strolling through its lush and well-kept streets is a pleasure, enjoying the old buildings that flank it.
