Cementerio de Arte

The Morille Art Cemetery, also known as the Museum-Mausoleum, is a unique artistic space located in the area of Los Centeneros de la Iglesia in the heart of the Salamanca dehesa. Inaugurated in 2005 by the artists Domingo Sánchez Blanco and Javier Utray, this innovative project consists of burying works of art, transforming the act of burial into a form of artistic expression. Each burial is a performative process open to the public, which includes the exhibition of the work, a procession and the placing of a tombstone with an epitaph.

Access is free and open all year round, allowing visitors to explore this natural environment and reflect on the relationship between art and landscape.
