The Centro de Interpretación de la Cañada Real Soriana Occidental y la cultura pastoral ‘Casa Pinotes’ is located next to the Cordel reservoir (new reservoir) about 3 km from Casar de Cáceres.

The building, which has preserved its original structure, was a farmhouse next to the cattle track. This centre aims to raise awareness of the aspects related to transhumance as it passed through these lands along the Cañada Real Soriana- Occidental. It is a small tribute to the women and men who lived by transhumance and serves to highlight the value of this way of life.

It also has a bird observatory with the necessary optical equipment to enjoy the birds and the natural environment.
