De la Luna al Fuego

Since the late 14th century, Zafra has celebrated the San Juan Fair (June 24). The "From the Moon to the Fire" program has revitalized it through the recreation of the festive atmosphere of the city during the 16th and 17th centuries. Theater, concerts, a living chess game, a Golden Age market, and gastronomic events are some of the offerings of this event, held annually around the feast of St. John the Baptist. Declared a Festival of Regional Interest of Extremadura (2014).
