El Cuervo de Sevilla became independent from the municipality of Lebrija (Seville) on 6 October 1992, with the declaration of independence and was constituted as an independent municipality on 19 December of the same year, this objective was achieved thanks to the struggle of the neighbours to separate and become an entity. This is a young village that has been growing and developing between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, although it retains historical remains of Chalcolithic and Roman times. is celebrated with an institutional event and cultural activities.
