Ermita de la Virgen del Carmen en Santa Fé de Mondújar

This hermitage, today dedicated to the Virgen del Carmen, has its roots in the past. It is located on the plateau of Los Millares. Its chronology is difficult to pinpoint, but its structure is similar to that of the Muslim qubbas or marabouts. They are square buildings, open on one side and crowned by a dome. Taking advantage of these ruins, in the mid-19th century, it was rebuilt and endowed with the image of the Virgen del Carmen.
