Printing...Ermita de las Angustias is an 18th century chapel with a rectangular floor plan, sloping roof and a gabled roof.
In 912, Bishop Sisnando gave Abbot Guto, of the monastery of San Sebastián del Pico Sacro, two thirds of the vows that this church paid to the monastery of San Martiño.
Martiño. In 1115, Queen Urraca donated the church of San Miguel de Castro to the monastery of Camanzo.
The apse of the primitive Romanesque church remains, the upper part of which has been extensively reconstructed. Several authors mention the mural paintings that covered the entire church, which have now disappeared under the whitewashing.
