Printing...The Ermita is of recent construction, it was started in the first quarter of 2023 and will be finished for its big day, 25th April. It was officially inaugurated on 25 April 2024, with José María Avalos as Elder Brother and Ismael Gil Salmerón as Mayor of Abrucena.
This small hermitage wants to show the devotion of the people of Abrucena, San Marcos, so historically linked and celebrated, losing its vigour in the 80s and recovered in the second decade of this century. San Marcos symbolises for the Abrucena people their union and links with the animals and the land that for so many centuries has provided for the local population.
