The Hermitage of Saint Michael, from the 14th century, is one of the first churches built after the Christian conquest of Martos. With a single nave and gabled roof, it features a presbytery with a dome housing the image of Saint Michael and the painting of Christ of Chircales. Its feast on September 29 includes religious acts and a traditional market at El Llanete.
