Feria de San Juan

Around 24 June, the first summer fair in the Subbética region, the Feria de San Juan (St. John's Fair), is held, which ushers in the ‘festive summer’, not only in Cabra but also in the whole region. This fair has many cultural attractions, sporting events, attractions, concerts, stalls, bullfights and the recently recovered ‘bonfires of San Juan’. The event which takes place on the day of San Juan at the roundabout of D. Juan Valera in the Alcántara Romero Park, with the awarding of the National Literature Prize which bears his name, and the concert by the Music Band, is the most important moment of this fair.
