Feria y fiestas de Nuestra Señora de Consolación de Utrera

It is celebrated during the patron saint festivities in honor of Our Lady of Consolation. It has been declared a place of Tourist Interest and takes place around September 8th. It takes place in a large fairground adjacent to Consolation Park and is set up similarly to the more famous Seville April Fair, with booths organized by families, groups of friends, or associations. During the fair, on the eve of September 8th, the Rosary is celebrated, from the Parish of Santa María to the Sanctuary, at 11:00 p.m. Upon arrival, the traditional ringing of bells and singing of the Salve to Our Lady of Consolation, Patron Saint of Utrera, take place. From early evening until dawn, groups of pilgrims arrive on foot from different villages in the countryside to visit the Patron Saint of Utrera. Around midday. On the 8th, the Solemn Function is held in honor of the patron saint of Utrera, Our Lady of Consolation. Utrera is especially famous for being the birthplace of important flamenco artists, and the fair frequently features flamenco performances.
