Fiesta de San Blas en Aldehuela del Jerte

The patron saint of Aldehuela del Jerte is San Blas (3, 4 and 5 February).

Religious events include the Solemn Mass on the 3rd and 4th, as well as the processions of the saint through the streets of the village.

During the procession, to the sound of the Extremaduran flute and drums, the old tradition of the ECHADA DE BANDERA before San Blas is maintained, asking for his protection.

Year after year, the villagers continue to make the "cordones de San Blas", asking the patron saint for protection from throat ailments.
