The La Mota Fortress was declared a National Monument in 1913. It is a fortified city, the last frontier of Al-Andalus. Made up of walls, Alcazaba with three towers, the Main Abbey Church, cisterns, homes, etc. It houses a Border Life Interpretation Center.
