We are talking about an emblematic place on the Mozarabic Way of St. James. Inside the garden where you enter the monastery of the Madres Comendadoras de Santiago you can find the monolith of the 200th kilometre of the Mozarabic Way that starts from the cathedral of Almeria. This same place is the starting point of the Mozarabic Way from Granada to Cordoba. The guesthouse has several rooms, both single and double, all with en-suite bathrooms. The address of the convent is Calle Santiago 20, but the entrance to the guesthouse and to the dining room is on Calle Paco Seco de Lucena s/n. There is an intercom next to the entrance gate. It is advisable to book in advance because it is always busy, and if you want to eat there you have to give prior notice. It is a religious hostel with 14 beds, so we ask for maximum respect for the hours of chores of the nuns and their closing at 22.00 . The price of the accommodation includes a very complete breakfast and the money is used by the sisters for the social work they do and the soup kitchen they run every day for the homeless. A place where the rich conventual pastries and the ‘tarta de Santiago’ are not lacking. There are pilgrims credential of Camino Mozarabe de Almería- Granada Association
