A former Dominican convent church from the 16th century, it is Baroque in style and worships the Virgin of Guadalupe, Patron Saint of Baena.
It consists of a large central nave without transept and two side naves, separated by semicircular arches. Of particular note is the 16th century Mudejar coffered ceiling that covers the main chapel, the only one of its kind in the whole province, as well as a carved and polychrome wooden altarpiece from the second third of the 17th century.
Worthy of mention is the image of the Cristo de la Sangre, from the 16th or 17th century and declared a Cultural Asset of Andalusia in 1988 and attributed to Pablo de Rojas.
