- Camino Mozárabe desde Jaén / Jaén-Martos
The church of San Juan Bautista is the seat of the Parish of San Juan y San Pedro, located in the Spanish city of Jaén, and is one of the oldest churches in the city, with researchers dating it to the second half of the 14th century.
In this temple is the canonical seat of the Real e Insigne Congregación del Santo Sepulcro y de Siervos de la Orden Tercera de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, which performs its penitence station on Good Friday of the Holy Week of Jaén, and of the Primitiva, Muy Ilustre y Real Cofradía de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, as well as the parish groups of the Santísima Trinidad and the Obra Pía de Nuestra Señora del Tránsito.
It is located in the heart of the Jewish quarter, a corner of the old quarter. The main façade opens onto the Plaza de San Juan, the side streets of San Juan and San Antón, and the apse overlooking Calle Martínez Molina.
