Church built in the mid-19th century. It is made of ashlar stone from the nearby Monastery of Santa María de Moreruela.
Inside, the main altarpiece with the Virgin of the Assumption in the centre and an ancient image of Saint John the Evangelist in the upper centre are of particular interest.
In the altar area there is also an image of San Miguel Arcángel, perhaps the oldest in the temple.
The side altarpiece of the Cristo del Amparo is Baroque, and opposite is an older one, made of wood in a single piece, which houses the image of the Virgen Dolorosa (Our Lady of Sorrows).
The image of San Antonio Abad also stands out. There are also four other images from the old monastery.
