Iglesia de San Martín Obispo

The Church of San Martín, like the Church of Santiago Apostol, are the two oldest churches in Medellín. The construction of San Martín began during the second third of the 13th century, on ruins of Roman origin. The current building obeys two different construction periods: an initial proto-Gothic style and a substantial Baroque transformation, very similar to the process of the archpriestly church of Santiago.
