Iglesia de Santa María de Zos

The Church of Santa María is located in the town of Zos, belonging to the municipality of Trasmiras, in the province of Ourense.
It is a late Romanesque building that was later enlarged and, apart from the chevet, is practically intact.
The west doorway has four highly decorated archivolts, with grooves, saw teeth, etc., resting on columns whose capitals are carved with geometric and plant motifs as well as a bird.
The south doorway is much simpler, with its tympanum standing out, with a complex geometric framework.
