Iglesia de Santiago Apóstol. Centro de Interpretación del Parque Arqueológico de Medellín

Built on the ruins of a Roman temple in the second third of the 13th century, but with later alterations. At the end of the 15th century, beginning of the 16th century, the southern doorway was built with semicircular archivolts, culminating in the exterior with an ogee arch. In the year 2000 the Church of Santiago began a process of restoration, with the aim of recovering the building and making it useful as an Interpretation Centre of the Medellín Archaeological Park.
