In the church of La Encarnación in Moclín is the shrine of Cristo del Paño.

The church, like all the old churches in the diocese of Granada, was founded in 1501 after the conquest of Granada by the Catholic Monarchs. It is built on the site of a former mosque. Construction began in 1505, although the design of the main chapel, attributed to Diego de Siloé, had to wait until 1543.

The building underwent various events, so that its current appearance is contemporary and dates back to 1940.

The presbytery is presided over by the image of the Cristo del Paño, an oil painting which, according to legend, was used by the soldiers of the Catholic Monarchs as a banner during the Reconquest and then given to the town as a gift of thanks.

The church is open every day except Thursday with reduced opening hours; during the winter, it is open from Monday to Friday (except Thursday) from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, it is open from 11:00 to 13:00 hours in the morning and from 16:00 to 18:00 hours in the afternoon. During the summer, it is open from Monday to Sunday (except Thursday), from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
