The majority of the building we see today dates from the 17th century.
The interior is divided into two parts:
- presbytery: this houses the high altar, presided over by the 18th-century Baroque altarpiece. The ceiling is formed by a brick barrel vault. The presbytery is separated from the rest of the church by a semicircular arch.
- main nave: the forward space closest to the presbytery is crowned by a brick dome, with altar-like niches on its sides. At the foot of the nave, the space features a roof of two groin vaults separated by a semicircular transverse arch. Of note is the high choir loft located at the foot of the church. The baptistery is located on the right wall under the tower.
The interior we see today is the result of several renovations, the most recent of which are: chipping away at the walls, removing the last plaster applied to leave the structure exposed, thus losing the correct interpretation of the original work.
Externally, the temple is sober without much decoration. On the main facade, we also observe the loss of the plaster that would highlight the arch and the window. We can also see the disappearance of a small atrium, evidenced by the stone parapet that would have supported the columns to hold up the small roof. There are also remains of the start of the roof on the facade. On the right side, at the foot of the tower, there is a blinded doorway that gave access to the nave of the temple. With the exception of the main facade, the type of plastering the rest of the canvases is unknown, although it is worth highlighting remains where some plaster is still preserved. Most of this example is found on the left wall.
