Iglesia Virgen del Rosario en Santa Fe de Mondújar

The church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario began to be built in the middle of the 16th century and was used for the worship of the inhabitants of Santa Fe and its surroundings, as centres with larger numbers of settlers such as Mondújar and Huéchar were deserted after the definitive expulsion of the Moors. The name of this Marian invocation is determined by the connotations that the Virgin of the Rosary had with regard to heretics and new Christians.
