Lugar de Importancia Comunitaria: Sierras Subbéticas

The territory of the Park is made up of a group of massifs and mountain ranges, of medium altitude and fundamentally calcareous in nature, surrounded by lower terrain and much gentler physiography where olive cultivation predominates and where the main urban centres are located. The karst landscape is characterised by the presence of practically all the forms associated with the processes of dissolution of carbonate rocks, both superficial and subterranean.
