Antequera Luz de Luna is a summer programme promoted by Antequera Town Council which offers a wide range of activities to enjoy the town in a thousand ways: guided tours of the town at sunset, original activities in the Monumental Site, moonlight hiking routes in the Torcal de Antequera, sensory experiences, etc. It is a tourist and cultural leisure event that takes place every summer, from 1 July to 30 September.
During this period, visitors can enjoy a unique experience, as at sunset, when the light offers a special view of the city and the temperature is more pleasant, they can discover Antequera's numerous heritage sites, by going on routes around El Torcal, astronomical observation in Los Dólmenes, dramatised visits to La Alcazaba or discovering the city's old quarter with its numerous churches.
You can also enjoy numerous evening activities, such as jazz or blues concerts, flamenco festivals or art exhibitions, around outstanding monumental areas such as the City Museum MVCA or the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria.
