Printing...The Cerro de la Coja is located near the Copper Museum. It is the most characteristic place in the mining area and the highest point in the town (538 metres above sea level). The name Cerro de la Coja is due to a lady called Filomena Diaz Rubio, commonly known in the town as ‘La Coja’. This lady and her family lived in this place during the Spanish post-war period, having lost one of her legs during the Spanish war.
