Mirador Astronómico de Monesterio

Astronomical viewpoint located in a spot known as La Cruz del Puerto, on the access to Monesterio along the Vía de la Plata pilgrimage route. It is built on a circular square, where the points at which the sun sets at different times of the year are marked by the installation of three vertical totem poles. The square is surrounded by ergonomic benches where you can lie down to contemplate the sky and discover constellations, stars and planets.
