The Monastery of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación is one of the most important architectural elements of the village, its courtyard, interior rooms and architecture in general, show the constructive facets of the 17th and 18th centuries.
The ground plan of the church, clearly box-shaped and very narrow with a dome over a very undeveloped transept, shows the characteristics of full Baroque, possibly from the second half of the 17th century or the beginning of the 18th century.
The beautiful brick belfry that rises on the outside and supports the bells, stands out above all for the perfection in the use of the material, decorated with ceramics, as well as for its sculptural aesthetic figure and historical and artistic value.
It is open from Monday to Saturday during mass hours, at 8:30 am and on Sundays at 9:30 am.
The Poor Clares who live here sell handmade sweets, pastries, cakes and pastries, etc. Everything is handmade and of great quality.
