The Museo de la Pasión was created as a result of an exhibition on ‘El Hombre la Sábana Santa’ (The Man and the Holy Shroud) which was held in 2002, bringing together a synthesis of the work that the Sevillian sculptor and image-maker Juan Manuel Miñarro has been carrying out in this field in recent years. The exhibition explores a segment of ethnographic and religious tourism by showing what was ‘the first Easter Week in history, approaching the Passionist events from the perspective of the contents offered by History, Archaeology, Science and Art’.
