Museo del Cobre

The ‘Museo del Cobre’ occupies the building of a former Casa Cuartel de la Guardia Civil. This museum is organised into three exhibition halls: Room I: Exhibits materials related to metallographic analysis and mineralogy of the region. Room II: This room is dedicated to Protohistory, with the oldest objects in the collection. Room III: Focuses on the Roman period. Outside the museum there is a restitution of a Republican Roman oven, excavated at the Los Pinares site in Cerro Muriano. The museum is open to the public exclusively on Thursdays and Fridays, from 9:00 to 13:00.
