The museum is housed in La Casa de los Dávila, an 18th century palace with classical traces, with a granite ashlar façade and its architectural composition. Since 1986 it has housed the museum dedicated to the sculptural production of Enrique Pérez Comendador and the paintings of his wife, the French painter Magdalena Leroux. It also has a room dedicated to the abstract sculptor Ángel Duarte, linked to the historic group Equipo 57.
