Popular name for the Soap Factory, the only example of 19th century industrial architecture in the city. This impressive eclectic-style house was the first private home in the town to have a lift and heating. The house consists of three floors, basement and roof, and a set of industrial buildings. On the outside, an iron fence surrounds the perimeter. The façade is linteled and lined with openings framed by a frieze of plant motifs.
