Santo Domingo de Guzmán was the first convent in Cabra, founded in 1550 from a small hermitage, called de la Doctrina, at the beginning of the 16th century. The current work reflects the mark of the reforms of different periods, especially the second half of the 20th century, which recovered the main altarpiece with the carving of Santo Domingo. The exposed brick façade has a white limestone façade with two marble columns whose capitals support a niche with the image of the Immaculate Conception. The impressive height of the barrel vault is remarkable.
