Parroquia Santa María de la Oliva
- Vía Augusta desde Cádiz / Lebrija-Las Cabezas de San Juan
The construction of this church began in the second half of the 13th century, and it underwent subsequent reconstructions and additions until the 18th century. The main extension took place in the 16th century. It is, therefore, a building steeped in history, which preserves parts of each of the periods in which it was rebuilt. To cite some of the most important features, the sections of the church are compartmentalised by means of pointed horseshoe arches, which rest on pillars to which are attached stone and brick columns, with a very interesting series of capitals decorated with motifs of Romanesque, Gothic and Almohad inspiration. This enormous variety of periods and styles in the construction of this church make it one of the most interesting in its architectural ensemble.
