Plaza de Toros - Museo Taurino

The Antequera Bullring was built in two stages, the second phase starting in 1984 with a new shadow door. The current appearance of the bullring is one of the most elegant in Spain. Under the bullring's seating area, there is a restaurant which, as well as offering typical local dishes, provides access to the bullfighting collection of the bullring. The Bullfighting Museum is located in the Bullring, one of the most beautiful in Andalusia, which dates back to the 19th century. The visitor will find the museum on the upper floor of the Plaza de Toros and a tour of the three exhibition rooms will give an overview of the bullfighting festival in Spain, as well as the local bullfighting history.
