Important remains of the old Muslim fence of the town are preserved, next to the Plaza del Carmen, these are the tower of the Asalto and the watchtower of the Estrella. The Torre albarrana de la Estrella is a free-standing tower joined to the fence by means of a round arch, next to which a breach or postigo was opened after the conquest, to be able to enter the enclosure. The Arabic-Andalusian flavour of this corner is reminiscent of other times.
