Puente del Arroyo del Bebedero

The Arroyo del Bebedero Bridge, dating back to the late medieval period, is located within the municipal boundaries of Villanueva de Algaidas. Known as the Old Bridge or Atalaya Bridge, it was used to connect the population centers of La Rincona and La Atalaya by crossing the Bebedero Stream, which further downstream is called the Burriana Stream. The foundations are made of thick ashlars of local stone joined with mortar, and it features a central semicircular arch and two smaller ones on the sides, designed to relieve the flooding of our streams.
