Printing...Declared a National Monument, it is the most characteristic expression of Muslim art in the city. It dates from the 18th century and is also known as the Ermita de la Virgen de Espera. Belonging to the walled complex of the Islamic Medina, the Malaga Gateway is of the type of passageway with a bend in the wall. Despite its smaller dimensions, it is reminiscent of the Justice Gate of the Alhambra in Granada.
