San Isidro Pilgrimage Festival. It begins with the parade and competition of floats and decorated carts, as well as horses that start from the Parque de Santa Ana early in the morning, with San Isidro, the patron saint, leading the procession. The parade ends when it reaches the grounds where the hermitage is located, some 3 Kms. from the village. It is a day of country festivities, where the whole village stands under the best holm oaks that surround the hermitage, spending the day under their shelter. In the saint's enclosure, cucaña competitions, orchestras and dances are organised. Mass is celebrated and all the pilgrims come to ‘give alms to the saint’ to protect the harvest and the crops that are already in season at this time of year and to ask him for a good year of pasture for the livestock.
