The festivity in honour of San Isidro Labrador, patron saint of Santa Amalia, is celebrated every year on 15 May. It is celebrated with a large pilgrimage. It begins the night before at the top of the hill where the hermitage of San Isidro is located. On 15 May, the image of San Isidro is carried in procession from the village parish church to his hermitage. Throughout the day there are various events, such as popular dances and competitions.
