Santa Catalina de Alejandría

This is the town's main festival, as she is the patron saint of the town.

The celebration takes place in November, on the 25th, 26th and 27th. Although the festive atmosphere begins to fill the town a week beforehand, on the Saturday before the election of the queen and ladies of honour, who will be the representatives of the festivities.

On the evening of the 24th, the fiestas are inaugurated with fireworks, the crowning of the queen and ladies and then a large orchestra to liven up the atmosphere.

The three days of festivities take place as follows: every morning dawn, at 12:00 noon mass and procession in honour of the patron saint, in the afternoons popular competitions and in the evenings open-air dances.
