Printing...Emigrant Week is one of the most cherished celebrations in La Puebla de Sancho Pérez, created in honor of the residents who, in search of work and a better life, moved to other cities or countries. This week of festivities takes place in August, coinciding with the holiday season when many emigrants return to the town to visit their families. The celebration strengthens the bonds of belonging and allows the town to unite to welcome back those who had to leave, but who hold their homeland close to their hearts.
